Oracle's Memory

Oracle has two types of memory: SGA (shared global area) and PGA (program global area)
There is only on SGA per instance.
The PGA contains the CGA if the associated process is making a call
If the server is running MTS mode, the UGA (user global area) is within the SGA, if the server is running dedicated mode, the UGA is found within the PGA.
