orapwd file=password_file_name password=the_secret_password orapwd file=password_file_name password=the_secret_password entries=n
There is a default location and name for password files. When a
password file is created, it should be created in that location.
n specifies the maximum number of distinct DBAs and OPERs that can be stored in the password file.
orapwd is a command line tool to create password files.
