Vim and putty

If putty is used to connect to a solaris machine, it then seems that vim is not able to display colors.

However, putty can be configured so that vim can display colors by specifying dtterm for the terminal type: Connection -> Terminal-type string: dtterm

In vim, then, a :syntax enable must also be done.
